What would you say if I were to tell you that Resident Evil 5 was under going a control revision? Well even if you oppose it Capcom is doing it! Capcom has confirmed that they are revising the control system to give you a 'Gears of War' like control scheme. So expect to be ducking, hiding and running and gunning your way through zombies this March! As for me I think it is a good idea. I have read alot of fan articles and forums and the most requested/debated thing was running and gunning. So I think appealing to your fans would be a good thing. For me personally I would have played it with the current control system BUT this new one seems like it would quicken the game play up and make it a bit more exciting.

Ok so here is the bad news. The bad news that the latest revision to the PSP is that the screen is so good that it will make the battery even worse! Well not that worse, only about 20 minutes worse.  There a bright side! Sony is planning to rerelease the extended battery that will give you 8-10 hours of battery life! So at least it isn’t like they are totally screwing us.

Here is some good news. Well it is more of a rumor.  The latest thing is that Sony will let you play games on line over the PS3. Also you will be able to use voice and txt chat over the PSP’s Wi-Fi. PLUS they will be adding a version of the PS store onto the PSP. SO if the rumor turns into reality you can see this update in the Fall.

Just when you thought Bill Gates was gone he's back! Microsoft wants to destroy all this Vista is bad BS, and try to show people Vista doesn't suck. How will Microsoft do it? Well Jerry Seinfeld might be able to help. I have to say I like were this is going. Especially if the commercials are as funny as the Bill Gates' Last Day skit. I hope they don't bash Apple, even though they deserve it, because I don't want this to turn into a little kid fight. I want Microsoft to be the bigger company and tell me why there product is good and I should buy it. Not Apples approach of saying the other guy is a turd some buy our product. That's what a two year old would do. And I hope Microsoft doesn't go down to there level and start the Mac bashing.

Ok so a glitch in a game isn't that uncommon. But I have never seen a company take a horrible glitch and have it work for them. For EA to sit down and think of this idea was genius! And to see Tiger walk on water was EPIC. It makes me want to buy Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 09..... No it doesn't .

So how does a 160gb PS3 sound? Not good enough, ok. Sony will also throw in a DualShock3 controller, Uncharted:Drake's Fortune, AND a voucher for the PSN game PAIN! Ya well Sony loves you so they are release a bundle with all the things I mentioned for $499. Now that's a steal compared to the 80gb PS3 that will sell for $399. What's that you say? It's to good to be true. Well in a way it is to good to be true. Sure it's an awesome bundle but don't trade your PS2 in to get one other wise you are screwed. Both the 80gb and 160gb will NOT have backwards compatiblity. Now for many of you this is a big deal becuase many people have a ginormus PS2 library that is still growing! I don't understand Sony's need to make you confused over the 5 different consoles that were on the market and which 40gb had B/C and which ones didn't.

Not only is Sony releasing new PS3 SKU's they are releasing a new PSP SKU, The PSP-3000. You may notice this "New" PSP looks a hella(that's right I said hella) familiar. That's because Sony added a few things this time around. The Home button is now the PS button and has the Playstation logo on it. There is a microphone located to the right of the Volume Up button. The screen is supposedly better for playing out doors too. And Sony knows you love extras, so the core pack will include a black PSP, 4gb memory stick(SIC), and a voucher for Every Day Shooter, which is a PSN game. Now all Sony has to do is add support for my PSN Tag right on the PSP and add trophies and I will be Uber Happy!

Good news for Rock Band and Guitar Hero fans. Microsoft and Sony have both confirmed that all the plastic instruments from Rock Band, Guitar Hero: World Tour, and Rock Revolution(who?) will all be compatible with each game. For example we get to use the Guitar Hero drums for Rock Band and Rock Revolution. Sony has stated that the microphones for each of these games will work with their Sing Star series. Microsoft did not say anything about the microphones being compatible with their karaoke game LIPS.
As for me I am very pleased with Microsoft and Sony for making sure the games instruments are compatible. I really don't have room for 2 sets of plastic instruments. Now I can just buy the set of instruments for GH:WT and be able to use them with Rock Band.

Today I went to go play Team Fortress 2 for the first time in about a week. I had heard about the update that was coming. The update fixes some bugs, and adds 38 achievements for the Heavy class. Adding achievements for Medic and the Pyro because they are 2 classes that are good but you would not see that many people playing, and by adding achievements gives incentive for people to play these classes. The bad thing about giving the Heavy achievements is that there was never a time were I saw less than 3 people playing the Heavy class. But know with the Heavy update you go into games and there are about 8 Heavies! This is really bad because there is now diversity. As I kept playing the number of heavies went down to about 4 or 5. But with the bad comes the good. If your favorite class is the Medic your in luck. There will be tons of people to heal and Uber. If you prefer lighting things on fire, you will enjoy being a Pyro with so many Heavies. If you wait for your Heavies weaken theirs you can pop out and get a couple of Heavy kills quickly, which will help you get the Makin' Bacon achievemnet.

As for the new mode and maps I have no idea how they are. I couldn't get into any of the new maps or game type, Arena.

Last night I finished off playing both games last night and these are the two must have games if you are going to buy a PS3. While playing both I was having lots of fun. In R:FoM it was just so much fun to shoot things and the story was pretty good too. Uncharted takes you on a Indian Jones like journey were your your main objective is to hunt for Sir Francis Drake's treasure. The game is like a combination of Gears of War's shooting and Prince of Persia's platforming, and that just makes for an awesome game. Plus the story plays out like a well written movie!
